Now, we'll practice placing our fingers in the HOMEROW position. Look at the keyboard. What do you notice? We will learn and practice positioning our fingers on HOMEROW. :) It will take time and practice, but we will get it! Keep believing in yourself!
We will continue to practice using the mouse to select and drag today. We will also learn how to move and use a scroll bar (see to the right--->). First, drag and drop shapes. Then, drag and drop numbers into the right order. After, drag and drop shapes to exact locations!

Next, practice identifying the ones, tens, hundreds and thousands place using the activities below. First, we will complete a pre-assessment. Take your time! Do your best! Then, practice dragging to specific locations and understanding place value using the link below. Use "Read and Make" option. For a challenge, try "Listen and Make" and select 100!
We will learn how to click and drag. Remember to hold your mouse straight up and down and make a "V" with your fingers! Now, drag numbers from 0 - 5 on the fridge. For a challenge, see if you can drag numbers in order to 12 or higher!
We know that one of the ways we use technology is to communicate with others. So... let's share a little bit about us by creating a word cloud! Click on Tagul below. 1. Create new cloud. 2. Add your name in the 1st box. Change to size 3. 3. "Enter" to add at least 4 more words about you! - favorite color? - favorite sport? - favorite animal? - favorite place? - anything else???? 4. Pick a shape (hand, star or talking bubble) 5. Visualize 6. Print! |
